How to Get to Antibes: All Options Explained

Antibes sits right in the middle of the French Riviera — 10 minutes from Cannes, 20 from Nice, 30 from the airport. Here’s how to get here.

By Plane

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) — 30 minutes by car, 45 minutes by train. The airport has a direct train station (Gare Nice Saint-Augustin) with connections to Antibes every 20-30 minutes. A taxi to Antibes costs around €50-70. The airport bus (line 250) takes 50 minutes and costs €1.70. Yes, really. €1.70.

By Train

Antibes is on the main coastal rail line. Direct trains from Nice (15 min), Cannes (10 min), Monaco (45 min), and occasionally direct TGV from Paris (5 hours). The station is a 10-minute walk from the old town. Trains run frequently (every 15-30 minutes along the coast).

By Car

A8 motorway, exit 44 (Antibes). Parking is expensive in summer — book ahead if your hotel doesn’t provide it. Parking Vauban (near the port) and Parking Pré aux Pêcheurs (near the old town) are the most convenient.

By Bus (Regional)

The ZOU! network connects Antibes to surrounding towns. Line 1 goes to Nice, line 2 to Cannes, line 10 to Valbonne and the hinterland villages. Buses are cheap (€1-€5) but slower than trains.
